Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She is currently a fighter in the UFC Flyweight division. She is older than fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sporting career as a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and beat Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an unanimous decision. Antonina then won a Silver Medal in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, and a Golden medal in 2011, in the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia began her professional journey at the age of 23 in 2003. She has taken home numerous titles including the K-1 World Championships, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's most recent fight took place against Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win with a majority. Antonina Shevchenko set the professional MMA record at KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She went 3-0, after winning in the second round TKO. Her next two bouts came at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA so that she could focus on boxing. She made her return with a win against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous vote, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the promotion in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina used her superior fighting techniques and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. Antonina Shevchenko was given an UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina made her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale in a fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight via unanimity. Antonina bounced off the loss by prevailing Lucie Prudilova's battle in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night in that bout. Shevchenko was 2-2 in her three subsequent matches she won against Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
